Grief takes many forms, erotice shower scenes and we've all been grieving over the loss of Chuck E. Cheese's animatronic band in different ways.
Musician Father John Misty's grief led him to write a poetic and emotionally charged eulogy for Chuck E.'s robotic band of three animals, one monster and an Italian chef. The singer-songwriter posted his tribute to Facebook on August 18.

"When I consider that this motherfucker was playing up to 5 sets a night all over the country simultaneously i am reminded that, yes, it can be done, and that just by getting on that stage every night and leaving everything up there, I am part of lineage, of a collective imagination that spans the generations," Misty writes.
The animatronic band will reportedly not be included in the chain's upcoming renovation, due to a lack of interest from the children of 2017, who expect a higher wow-factor.
"The kids stopped looking at the animatronics years and years ago," CEC Chief Executive Tom Leverton told CBS. "The animatronics became a side show."
It would appear that Misty disagrees, citing Chuck E. Cheese as one of his greatest inspirations.
"This man introduced me to music. Though the world may have moved on, the music remains," writes Misty. "Goodbye Chuck Entertainment Cheese."
