A 29-year-old Australian man has been charged with attempted murder after breaking into former Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr's Malibu home.
Shaun Haywood a.k.a "Esra" allegedly broke into the beauty entrepreneur's home to deliver a letter,Watch Sweet Alibis Online the L.A superior court was told.

A neighbour told KCAL9"The man, after he was shot, still held the knife and was going after the security man so my guy kicked the knife out of the perpetrator’s hands."
When the incident occurred the Kerr, who is engaged to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, and her six-year-old son Flynn were not at home.

The Australian man was living in Los Angeles at the time of the incident. The charges laid against him stand at one count of attempted, wilful, deliberate and premeditated murder, one count of aggravated mayhem, and one count of assault with a deadly weapon.
If convicted Haywood could face a maximum sentence of life in a U.S state prison.
