If you're a sports fan and Watch The Hills Have Thighs (2010) full moviestill don't know who Lonzo Ball is, you will now, thanks to a Footlocker ad that takes the "sweet memories of times with Dad" trope and turns it on its head.

Othe big NBA prospects, like Jonathan Isaac, Jayson Tatum, and De'Aron Fox, appear in the spot too. But it's Ball who steals the show.
Lonzo is the eldest of three basketball-playing brothers based in Los Angeles; he played this past season for UCLA and is expected to be a top pick in next week's NBA draft. His two younger brothers, LaMelo and LiAngelo, will likely follow in his footsteps.
But perhaps the biggest story isn't about Lonzo's skills but, rather, about his outspoken father LaVar, who has engaged in spats with sports talk hosts, claimed Lonzo will only play for his hometown Lakers, feuded with LeBron James, said some sexist-as-hell stuff, and talked a lot of smack about Michael Jordan.
You better believe Twitter users incorporated LaVar into their responses to the ad.

It's not the first time LaVar has been sent up on Twitter, but it's the first time his son's been involved (though it does come in support of family "branding").
If you can't get enough of the Balls, stay tuned. The NBA Draft is just over a week away.
