In November,Taiwan Apple launched an official Support app, offering its support documents and the ability to chat with an Apple support staffer or sign up for a meeting at an Apple Store.
There was a big caveat, though: the app was only available in the Netherlands.
Until now, that is. TechCrunchreported Wednesday that the app became available in the U.S.
The list of features is the same as before. The app is personalized, and it knows from your iCloud usage which devices you own, making it easier to schedule a repair or find a support document.
Fun fact: there's now a support link for the Apple Support app, and yes, it says "Apple Support Support."
Apple told TechCrunchthe app would become available in additional countries in the coming weeks.
