Geologist Katy Atakturk was just trying to make marbled sugar cookies when she took out her angel cookie cutter and Watch Taming A Sex Man Onlinerealized, in her own words, "conforming to the norm wasn't going to cut it."
It was then that Atakturk, a Star Wars fan (and Baby Yoda enthusiast by connection), came up with a smart, easy hack for making Baby Yoda cookies. For anyone looking to make their own, simply make angel cookies with your angel cookie cutter, and then, "Off with their heads!"
The angel decapitation should give you the perfect Baby Yoda shape.
"When I made the decision to chop off the angel heads to form the Baby Yoda cut out, I actually made my boyfriend do the dirty work for decapitating the angels while I was busy rolling out and forming new Baby Yoda bodies," Atakturk told Mashable. "I didn’t want the weight of that dirty work on my hands, also it was date night and #teamwork."
She said the Baby Yoda cookies were a spontaneous decision, and that the hardest part was getting the eyes just right.
"People keep asking me how I made them and it’s just piped black food coloring gel mixed with icing," she said, "and I added tiny specks of white frosting placed in the corner with a toothpick for added cuteness."
Mission freaking accomplished. They're adorable.
Atakturk is happy the internet is loving her Baby Yoda cookies, but she will not be taking her shot at the influencer life, at least not right now. Her original Imgur post has over 100,000 views, and it's being reposted all over the internet. Baby Yoda content, in any form, is bound to spread like wildfire.
"I’m grateful my cookies are breaking the internet, and most everyone’s’ reviews are positive," she said, "but it’s a lot of social attention that certainly stirs up some anxiety and stress. I might just be eating the last few frozen cookies I stored in the freezer before Christmas day."
Eating more Baby Yoda cookies? Honestly not a bad idea. It's safe to say we're 100 percent supportive.
