BYD‘s luxury brand Denza on Historical ArchivesMarch 21 announced its flagship sports utility vehicle, the N9, with technology features such as what it calls the world’s first integrated vehicle-mounted drone system and an advanced driver assistance software suite powered by NVIDIA’s processor. The plug-in hybrid, full-size crossover has a spacious interior and measures around 5.3 meters in length with a wheelbase of more than 3.1 meters, slightly larger than rivals’ offerings such as Li Auto’s L9 and the Aito M9. The electric vehicle giant said its assisted driving tech allows the car to navigate around complex urban environments automatically, and that a DJI drone could automatically take off, track the vehicle, and capture travel moments in real time through a collaboration between the two Chinese tech companies. The Denza N9 has a driving range of 1,302 kilometers (809 miles) on a full tank and full charge and has a price range of between RMB 389,800 and RMB 449,800 ($53,715-$61,982).
