Valentine's Day is the time for people to surprise their loved ones with gifts and trips. With all of the work put into these surprises, one would hope that their plans would go smoothly.
Reddit user chopped_broccoli was surprised by their girlfriend when she sent a heart shaped pizza to their hotel room while they were away on a business trip. However, when they opened the box, the pizza didn't really look .

"We tried," they wrote and we love them for it.
At least they didn't skimp on the pepperoni.
