Who knew that old people + sexually transmitted diseases = comedy gold?Lee Do
Shannon Dowler, a family doctor in North Carolina, took it upon herself to make an excellent rap parody -- to the timeless tune of Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby" -- about the dangers of elder sex.
It's a tour de force of sexual education, and Dr. Dowler (aka RapDktaD) manages to cram a lot of super graphic stuff into four and a half minutes. There's a heavy emphasis on condoms and lube, but it's the phrases "vaginal atrophy" and "why can't you wear your little love mittens?" that really stick with you.
She made a similar video several years ago for young people, but sexually transmitted infections are actually are a real problem for seniors. So it's certainly a message worth spreading.
Now that she's schooled the elderly on STDs, somebody should probably explain to them who Vanilla Ice is.
