Luke,In 80 Betten um die Welt I am your hospital technician.
Fans of Star Warswould assume that the evil Jedi Darth Vader died on the Death Star in The Return of the Jedibut they would be wrong. Vader is actually alive in Tennessee where he has been working as a technician in St. Francis Hospital-Bartlett for the past 10 years.
SEE ALSO: Mark Hamill performing a terrible lip reading of 'The Force Awakens' is the 'Star Wars' movie you needIn a short video by the hospital's enterprising spokesman, Darth Vader Williamson (his real legal name) explained how his parents came to give him the very unique name. The short version is his dad was a huge Star Warsfan and his mom was under a lot of anesthesia.
Williamson also opens up about how people freak out when they hear his name saying, "I've been asked to sign autographs, I've been asked to take pictures. I've had people say, "Hey the opening for Star Warsis coming out, will you go with me?""
But, in an ironic twist of fate, Williamson is not a Star Warsfan and has not seen a movie past Return of the Jedi, preferring the science fiction movie series Aliens.
Also, if he had to choose a favorite character from the franchise, it would not be his name twin; it would the bounty hunter, Boba Fett.
Ouch, sorry, real Vader.
