Marvel's first female superhero has found its male lead.

Jude Law has entered talks to join Marvel's Captain Marvel,erotice افلام عائلية as first reported Wednesday by Variety. He'll Dr. Walter Lawson a.k.a. Mar-Vell, who becomes a mentor to Carol Danvers (the title character, to be played by Brie Larson).

Details on Captain Marvelare still mostly under wraps, but we know it'll be an origin story set in the early 1990s. Carol Danvers is an Air Force pilot who gains superpowers after an accident fuses her DNA with that of a powerful Kree (alien) warrior.

Law's had an interesting year, becoming an internet meme with HBO's The Young Popeand trying to make the best of Guy Ritchie's King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.

He's just finished shooting Woody Allen's next movie (ugh), due out next year. He'll also be seen in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, playing Young Dumbledore opposite Johnny Depp (ugh) as Young Grindelwald.
