Usually LinkedIn's jobs data is Sucking off a Man Caught Between Woman’s Legsat least a little uplifting: here are the jobs to pursue for the highest salaries, or the jobs that have the most promise this year.
This time around, the data is pretty depressing. Among the 100 highest-paying jobs in the United States, women make up around only 30 percent of employees on average in each role. The only high-paying jobs where women outnumber men are all in human resources.
LinkedIn decided to look at gender representation in top-paying jobs at the end of Women's History Month and ahead of equal pay day on April 4, the day women must work to in 2017 to earn what men did in 2016.
