Here's something that might keep you from buying a Roomba on spy cam sex videosPrime Day.
On Sunday, a man named Ryan Landy made a Facebook post about a truly harrowing situation: His new Roomba ran over a pile of dog poop in his house, became riddled with dog poop, then cleaned the rest of his house. Thus, the rest of his house is now covered in dog poop.
Since Landy wanted a clean house -- the ostensible purpose of a Roomba -- and not a house absolutely coated in dog shit, this was an issue.
"I'm going to need therapy," he wrote.
Sadly, Landy's experience is not the first time a Roomba has caused this particular brand of destruction. In 2016, a man named Jesse Newton discovered his Roomba had coated his home in a fine layer of canine feces after his 4-year-old son came into his bedroom "smelling like dog poop."
“Quite honestly, we see this a lot,” a spokesman from iRobot, the company that produces Roomba told The Guardianin response to Newton's mishap in 2016.
And we're sure that between 2016 and 2019, many instances of Roomba dog shit have gone unreported. It cannot be easy to admit that your once sort-of clean home is now totally smeared with excretions from the family dog.
Kind of makes you want to cut the crap and use a regular vacuum.
