Tesla founder Elon Musk made waves last month when he announced that the company would begin equipping all new vehicles with self-driving hardware.
Although we're still at least a few years away from any city being dominated by self-driving cars,a wave of eroticism cindy starfall on Saturday Musk decided to give us a preview of what the future will be like with self-driving Tesla cars.
SEE ALSO: Fisker is back and ready to take on Tesla with a new self-driving electric carThe first video, set to the theme song of The Benny Hill Showtakes us on a ride with a self-driving Tesla as the passenger sits in the driver's seat, hands on his lap and feet away from the gas and brake pedals.
The high-speed video shows the vehicle easily handling real world road situations including stop signs, pedestrians and unexpected moves from other vehicles.
At one point, the car even stops for a pair of joggers on the side of the road, just to be safe. The video ends with the passenger getting out and the Tesla quickly parking itself. Musk also posted a longer version of the video (above) set to the Rolling Stones classic "Paint it Black."

The videos are simple but powerful peeks at Tesla's ability to send what appear to be safe self-driving cars onto normal and busy city streets, long before most municipalities have even come up with road rules to govern such vehicles.
These visual demos, along with Tesla's aggressive self-driving efforts on the manufacturing floor, future-proof the company against becoming obsolete when self-driving cars go mainstream. Also, the visual humblebrags give the rest of the auto industry another competitive kick that will likely help get self-driving cars on the road even faster than many expect.
