Pitch Perfect'sRebel Wilson has won her long legal battle,history of eroticism volume 6 netting her a multi-million dollar settlement in the process.
Wilson sued Australian magazine publisher Bauer Media for a series of defamatory articles published about the actress in 2015, which branded her a "serial liar" and "fabricated almost every aspect of her life," according to the Supreme Court of Victoria's judgment on Wednesday.

Wilson took to Twitter to comment following the settlement, but said the "case wasn’t about the money," and that she is looking forward to "helping out some great Australian charities and supporting the Oz film industry with the damages I've received."

Hon. Justice John Dixon said only a "substantial sum in damages could convince the public that Ms Wilson is not a dishonest person."
"Unless substantial damages are awarded there is a real risk that the public will not be convinced of the seriousness of the defamation, but will rather wrongly conclude that the articles were trivial or not that serious," he added.
