The feels hit Vickie Wilkinson, 60, of Bozeman, Montana, all at once. After casting her ballot for Hillary Clinton, she promptly started crying tears of joy.

"Mom, why are you crying?" Dean asked her mother in the video.
"I got to vote for a woman for president!" Wilkinson replied through laughter and tears.
"I don't think women like my mom, in her generation, really thought they'd get to see this happen," Dean wrote to Mashable.
"My mom grew up in a whole different world where women were often forced to rely on men for legitimacy in their field! Electing a woman for president, even getting to vote for one, is a sign we've made real progress!"
