MillionsKexpected to hit the streets on Friday for the Global Climate Strike started by students and young people as a protest against inaction on climate change. And plenty of them are wielding exceptional signs.
Inspired by the actions of Swedish teen activist Great Thunberg, and set days before the U.N. Climate Action Summit on Sept. 23, climate strikes kicked off across the globe on Friday, starting with the Asia Pacific region. Hundreds of thousands turned up in cities across Australia and New Zealand, across parts of Asia in capitals like Dhaka, Islamabad, Bangkok, and Delhi, and throughout the Solomon Islands and Kiribati in the Pacific region.

In Europe, strikes are happening in Paris, Berlin, Warsaw, Hamburg, Gdynia, Athens, and elsewhere.
In the U.S., strikes will happen in San Francisco, Chicago, D.C. and more, including New York, where Thunberg herself will protest.
Of course, no protest is complete without some killer signs, which make statements at once hilarious and disheartening, hopeful and wildly frustrated.
