If the way to your heart is Happy and Gay (2021) Hindi Web Seriesthrough your stomach, you're not alone.
But just cause you love to eat, doesn't mean you can't get a little picky. Thanks to the dating app Hater, which matches people based on what they both dislike, we now know which foods and drinks are the most hated in each state.
Of course, the data totally depends on the single people from each state that are using the app, but this doesn't make the results any less interesting.
Ok, time to sink our teeth into this.
There are some classic contested foods on this list like cilantro (Arkansas), cottage cheese (North Carolina), or tofu (West Virginia).
But there are also some standouts that are pretty surprising. For example, Missouri hates "the last bite of a hot dog." Why? Are they sad it's the last bite? Is the hot dog now cold? We need a state representative to speak more to this.
Part of it is the way the app presents issues for people to weigh in on. Each card a user sees features one very specific things rather than a broader topic or issue.
So that's why you'd end up with something like "gas station wine" in New Jersey -- and not just something like "wine." (Though this still raises the question of who's going to a gas station for wine...) And Voss Water in Alaska is a curious choice because obviously water can't be the issue, so it must be a brand thing.
Shout out to Washington for living up to it's coffee-loving stereotype with Keurig K-cups.
A question we must ask ourselves is do we really hate this food? Or do we hate it cause it's trendy? I'm looking at you Nevada and Montana.
