What the world needs now,Esther Studer quite simply, is more kindness.
In a difficult time of inequality, political division and a slew of other serious global issues, Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Week is here to inspire us to come together and make a positive difference in the world, no matter how small.
As part of the 17th annual RAK Week, which runs from Feb. 12-18, the foundation has developed a fun new way for people to get involved and collect innovative ideas on how to spread some cheer: The Kindness Generator.

From complimenting a stranger to buying a friend's coffee or showing yourself some love, the Kindness Generator will act as your positive guide towards making a difference.
Using the tool, you can also keep track of which kind acts you complete in your Personal Newsroom or create and submit kind acts for others to carry out ... all while following along with other people, businesses and groups worldwide.
Kelsey Gryniewicz, Communications Director for the Random Acts of Kindness foundation, explained that the idea for the generator was inspired by the amazing support last year's "kindfest" received from contributors like Airbnb, Ellen DeGeneres, Disney, GoPro, McDonald’s, MLB, YouTube and more.
The unifying platform's Kindness Index even shows the total number of acts completed, acts inspired and "RAKtivists" participating so people can see the overall impact they're making in the world.
Making a difference has never been simpler.
