Commuters on the 6:54 p.m. train from Kiama to Sydney got a shock when a children's python appeared in one of the carriages.
Staff were alerted to its presence, but it wasn't until the train reached Sydney's Central Station, (about an hour and half away) that the unexpected customer was taken care off.

"Customers were moved from the carriage which was then locked off and arrangements were made for a snake handler to meet the train on arrival at Central Station," a NSW Trainlink spokesperson said.
"The train arrived at Central at 9.02 p.m. and the snake was located on a luggage rack of the carriage before being taken away by the snake handler who's now looking after it."
Fortunately this little fella is non-venomous, preferring to feast on birds, small mammals and reptiles.
If anything, it might be guilty of missssssing its stop. OK, that was awful, sorry.
