Maybe all the fame got to be Abouttoo much for our beloved Pizza Rat because we haven't heard much from him lately. We hope he's OK.
But if he wants to maintain his title as King of Street Food, he'll have to make an appearance soon because another pizza-loving rodent is ready to steal his crown.
SEE ALSO: Send help. An 'unusually aggressive squirrel' is terrorizing Brooklyn.A friendly neighborhood squirrel in Atlanta, Georgia, got a little hungry and chowed down on a slice from a trash can. Grant Park Conservancy, a group formed to protect Atlanta's Grant Park, posted photos of the rare sighting on Facebook.
Admittedly, this isn't the firstpizza squirrel. But it's a rodent with pizza all the same.
According to AJC, Alisa Chambers, Grant Park Conservancy director of operations, saw the creature and immediately starting taking its pic.
“I saw the squirrel inside the pool (when it was closed),” Chambers said. “I watched him balance himself on a trash can, reach inside and come out with the slice of pizza!”
He didn't drag it into the subway, but it's still pretty shameless. Some finesse, but not enough charm.
C'mon, Pizza Rat! Pull yourself together, get out there, and drag something even bigger and more delicious down the subway stairs. This chump is gunning for your name.
