While most folks prepare by parking the car in the garage, this family took things to another level and decided the safest place for their vehicle was with them, in the living room.

Twitter user sofiandreaa shared the images of the car on Twitter, and similar pictures uploaded by user chrisrcabrera of the same car swirled around the internet like a, well, like a hurricane.
"While y'all were probably trying to get water or gas today we put a car in my house," sofiandreaa wrote.

The family seemed to craft a super-strength ramp to drive it into the safety of the home. As bizarre as it is, you have to admit that it's a pretty ingenious method of keeping the car intact as Hurricane Matthew hits the Sunshine State.
